is it pretty difficult using a Trad Pole from the top of a ladder when trying to get to a window on a sloping roof ? Or would it be easier and more effective to climb up a ladder on a shallow angle (using a stopper) and getting to it that way ? Just looking at various methods to clean these types of window.

you should NEVER use a pole from half way up a ladder!cant you reach the window from the ground with a longer pole or climb and walk on the roof to clean that window?if you cant do either of these i would say miss this window out!!

i use a lightweight QUICKIE brand pole to do windows such as you mention ,from the ladder. its a 3 section 7foot long pole and was about £15 in BnQ . I Use a wagtail flipper on it,good results
on youtube are some great videos done by a guy called "MyWAGGA" using a trad pole with a brill modified wagtail flipper

Do you carry the pole and ladder around all day or just get the pole when you need it. i have been thinking about somehow attaching a pole to my ladder so that i dont have to return to van for it

iv a few poles in my car from a 2 foot ANZA pole going up to a 9 metre fishing pole . i leave then in my car and just grab one as needed. i read on this forum that some folk carry a short pole threaded inside a rung of the ladder which is a good idea . the only squeegee i use on a pole is my 12"modified wagtail
the reason the Quickie 3 part pole is my favourite is its very light and feels well balanced .
