Title: Canvassing AND leafletting a good idea ?

 I was told not to leaflet by a mate- just purely rely on knocking doors to get customers. But i was wondering if a combo would work- leave a leaflet at the houses who didn't answer and go back another time on a follow up ? What do you other guys do ?

leaflet a area  then knock it a few days later, works well

some one here will say knock only or leaflet only, u need to find something that suits you

i got various women to leaflet for me and it worked. one tip, only let somebody leaflet for 2 or 3 weeks max ,after that theyre sick to death of it and start skiving  and pulling strokes.
