Title: Environmental Policy
Post by: weetot on March 03, 2010, 02:47:36 pm
Not sure if in right section, but does anyone on this wonderful forum have an 'Environmental Policy' to attach to a 'Method of Work' and 'H&S Statement', to which i already have.

Or at least some sort of clue how to do one?

Any replies, greatly appreciated! and thanks. :)

Environmental Policy

Green 'n Clean Window Cleaning (Save the Planet, Ban the Bomb) have a very responsible attitude to the environment. We paint all our vehicles green including the owner's gargantuan Mercedes-Benz Kompressor.

We have a "Support Greenpeace - Save the Whale" sticker on the side of our vans and the "Greenham Common Wimmin against Nuclear Energy" logo - while faded over the years - supplements this nicely and keeps in touch with the over 50's generation from the Isle of Lesbos.

The pure water we use has been specially selected from meter-free sources thus ensuring massive profits for greedy water companies are minimilised.

All our diesel has been liberated from farmer's tanks so as to reduce the taxes paid into the grabbing governments pockets although a supplementary tank has been fitted behind the filler cap so that if we are "dipped" like the bunch of pikeys we are then we get off scott-free as it contains a few litres of Customs and Excise suitable fuel.

Our carbon footprint is further reduced by wearing size 8 green plimsolls on our size ten feet.

To further ensure sustainability we take payment in used tenners in re-usable sacks as this serves to reduce electricity usage by computer systems in the "Money Grabbing" Banks and Government Departments.

We do hope the foregoing convinces you that we are responsible traders and that you award us with your business.

Hope this helps.  :D
