Anyone seen one of these before? Our cousins in OZ are selling them, he claims the human eye can't see spots below 10/20 tds so apart from the equipment for producing pure, I'd like a few comments about your thoughts regarding spotting with a TDS of 10/20tds, I personally sort mine out as soon as it starts to go to 001tds.

I let mine run up to 009...no problems at all.
By the way thanks for the advice on the pressure washer,i have just got the same set up as yourself from northern tools, except they forgot to send the 7.3m pole ::)
Thanks for your advice. ;)

i get between 5 and 8 out of my RO unit and have never really had problems.
few marks on first clean but thats down to my poor workmanship.
considering investing in a resin vessel to polish it to 000 but im not sure if its worth it tbh

Stopped using reisn ages ago TDS 3 or 4 no spotting what so ever.
Some one told me that Pilkingtons stated that up to 15 is OK

On a cloudy day on a regular customer I have once used about 30 ppm, it was an emergency, it was fine, but I usually have mine at 000ppm. My ro puts out at 8ppm and I use resin and it does make for better cleaning

000 water cleans easier on stubborn dirt, it’s not just about the spotting
::)

30 and i dont bother with resin at all!

my tap water is 32 tds at the moment!i might as well just use a garden hose on my custys windows then! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D :P :P

hi Jeff.
this may be irrelevant but a tank of water with a tds of say 10-20 filled in a soft water area as appossed to a tds of 10-20 filled in a hard water area may just show different results with some windows looking good and some not so good.
I'm not saying thats the reason but its just a thought.
personally mine is at 000 but if it were as high as 010 say I would make sure to give and extra good scrub and even longer rinse to satify my consience so to speak.

Usually change mine at 005 (ish)
I've cleaned with 020 before with no problems.

doug, dasservices, told me the best way to see these results, is to get a clean piece of glass, keep it flat at all times then pour the water on it, leave to dry, test at diffrent tds reading, seems a good idea to me
