Hi all, haven't been on here in ages :( just wanted advice on pricing as i'm putting some of mine up. How much is a resonable amount?? For example on a £10 job i have put up a pound or 2 in some cases. Most prices haven't been increased for 4 years. What would you guys increase to? I did think 10 percent, but easier to go to the nearest pound. ::)

its entirely up to you pal!charge what you feel is right!there is no hard and fast rule!
ive been putting 80% of mine up.most a quid, some 50p,others £2/£3/£4/£5.even one gone up by £7!not lost one yet!and another week of price rises! ;D ;D
i couldnt get away with charging £10 for a standard house here!more like £6-£7!
ive still got quite a few very compact 5 pounders! ::)
i still do ok but hard to put them up to a tenner!north west is a lot cheaper to live!
im pricing better for new work but still a lot of underpriced work that im currently putting up every year for the next 3 years!
i made a big mistake with pricing years ago im slowly turning things around.thing is there is still guys A LOT CHEAPER THAN ME KNOCKING ABOUT ::) ::)

BASED ON YOUR 10 QUID PRICE YOU SHOULD GO UP 1 POUND EVERY 2.5 YEARS BASE ON INFLATION AT 3 %.tO KEEP IT STATIC FOR 3 YEARS IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE.
