Title: Don’t under estimate a Bentley brush
Post by: wizard on March 01, 2010, 06:32:35 pm
I had lots of first cleans to do after a spate of canvassing. I have 2 super lite brushes which are very good but are to soft for a first clean and do not get into the corners if a multi pane window. So out came my trusty Bentley which I trimmed of all the flagged ends ,so the brush is only +_ 4 cm long this improvement make this brush ideal for very dirty glass it gets into the tightest corners. This is not a brush for the snobs or the fellow who is only happy when he pays through his nose for a brush. But is still true contender even today. At 200 grams its value is enormous. Don’t write this brush off.

I am not sure what brodex top fitting looks like. But bentley is a cheap broom from Asda for 1.79 buy one and try it for fitting. All you need ti buy then is 2 pencil jets from Gardeners and trim the bristles to below the flagged section when you see the brush you will know what I mean. So that bristles are short and stiff.

The trouble i found with a bentley, or the supalite mark1, is that it worked well for 6 months and then just went crap in the blink of an eye.
Ok on maintenance cleans but it wasn't man enough for 1st cleans after 6 months.
