what is the best way to do this please?
Also how do you get a high ranking on search engines?

put a link to your website on another website that gets scanned regulary by google is the best way. If you ask, im sure someone on ere will put a link to your webite on theres.

Hi,

You are right about swapping links, & it needs to be with websites with good rating score, as I think it can work the other way.

Another thing is to change the content on a regular basis, which is why many now add blogs to their websites.

submit your site map to google and make sure that you allow all spiders and robots access to your page, these are the search engines looking into your page and gathering evidence to display when someone types a search
