Title: white upvc guttering

hi all , ive got some white guttering to clean ( really dirty with what looks like mould ) as im trad im just wondering whats best way to clean it ? any help apreciated  ???

If your still Trad then no need for expensive detergents Just a bucket of with Fairy washing up liquid will give you excellent results. one nice wet cloth, one to dry and a last one to polish.

Use a stand off and it will  make your Job so much easier.  ;)

price well matey quite hard work white guttering etc Fairy does work well on it .

It will shift it from white guttering no problem Just make sure your cloth is nice and wet.

Jay's right make sure you price well, you'll be there longer than you think?

have to agree with jeff but maybe you could get yourself a cheap wf pole and just plug it into customers outside tap?

then you could do more jobs safer and great for above cons. could help with bad green bits! and you could always finish bits off by hand.

get a cheap harris pole put a brush on it connect up to custys tap

should reach most houses with ease

and you will be safe :)

thanks for all the advice re poles. im hoping to go to windex and hopefully il pick up some cheap bits up there .

Even if you stay trad, a small brush will be useful for the fiddly bits round the brackets etc to loosen the dirt.  I use a small  'transport' brush which is shaped like a brush from a brush and dustpan set.

thanks john , il look out for one of those . ive got a unger pole and a 6 inch squeegy i was going to use , but il def go for the brush route :)

Why d'you need a squeegee to clean guttering?
