Title: Iphone
Post by: Windowmania on February 22, 2010, 05:00:04 pm
How many of you have iphones? Do you know of a program that can be helpful to us  window cleaners to keep track of jobs/frequency/paid and debt much like the george or window cleaner pro. If not how many of you would pay for an app for the iphone and at what price?

Hi all,

I have an app which is under development at the moment. Like most ideas they always take longer then you think to get things right. This app will only be released when its 100% ready even if it's 2nd / 3rd to the Market. I hope this will fill a gap for us iPhone users.

Paul.

Time to put the cat apon the pigeons >:(

I have had an Iphone for well over a year now. The phone was great untill...........I decided to jailbreak it >:(

Since the phone has been jailbroken, Ive had no end of problems (mostly freezing and running slow)

So my advice is this. If you want to use it for your business DO NOT JAILBREAK IT

Matt. I presume you will need to jailbreak the iphone to use your 3rd party app. PLEASE DONT. :-\

I reckon £20 for an app would be reasonable on the app store.  However it would need a program to sync with on the mac or pc as I wouldn't have all my customers details and my turnover recorded on my phone with no backup.

I love my iPhone as well and I love it even more since Ive jailbroken it!! There's no end of posibilities with it, I hate the fact that apple tries to restrict iPhone users!! If there was a window cleaning app that came out on cydia I'd definately pay for it as I've been waiting for something like this for ages!!

I reckon it's bit of a gamble having all your accounts on your phone.

Haven't managed it myself, but I know loads of people who lose their phones. It's easily done when you take it everywhere.
