Post by: creggan on February 22, 2010, 04:17:26 pm
just being to one of my customers houses to clean.noticed that windows were very clean, surprising as i clean every 10 weeks.give them the once over anyway and left note.just wondering if anyone would have left them and contacted customer before cleaning in such circumstances

in a word - NO.  If the frequency has been agreed and you turn up to clean them i would clean on, its up to the customer to inform you of any changes.

So what would you do if they were clean except one with birds mess on it...would you just clean that one window and aportion the payment.....
You have agreed a schedule with the customer, stick to it i am sure they will be happy you do.

but -  unfortunately less money.  I just go ahead and clean them unless notified otherwise.  I find if I leave them until the next due date, I'm having to clean and rinse more for the same money.

had a job last week that hasnt been done since before xmas. when i drove up i thought they look clean he must have got someone else. on closer inspection they where dirty but not as bad as they should have been. if the customer has your contact details and you are not late just do them and call for payment as normal

I have a good percentage of my work tht only really neds the off window claning. But as the agreement is mothly etc i just turn up and clean everything. I see it the same as rwc. My of my custmers would be well chuffed if they had a monthly clen and they looked goodf for most of that month.

I have said to some older customers that it is like takin candy from a baby, and am happy to go 8 w0eekly instead if they prefer.
