Hello Giovani and welcome, this is an excellent forum for buying off the shelf kit from Express Cleaning the site sponsors, but I think most of the diyers are asleep  ;D , you could try a google search for  the specific diy forum,

diy
water
fed

That's cos you can't put links up to that site. Just type it into your browser the same way that Hitman posted it, or just put www in front of what  Jeff Brimble has wrote. ;)

well i did it

and am well chuffed with this gaps 40/40 system..........i have got soft water (tds about 86) but was told i could get away with di but decided to get a ro cheaper running costs..................so i am just running the ro without a di and my tds is comming out at 1 so i am well chuffed with my choice of system. found june at gaps really helpfull she advised me against getting the di which i was all ready to order on her advise i did not get it and i now realise i dont need it.
i think praise where praise is due Gaps customer service was exellent ( oh god it sounds like a ad for gaps but we  all complain about bad service just thought i would tell you about good service)

I was also told I didn`t need a DI by Gaps and so saved some money.
