Title: WORK SCHEDULE
Post by: cockney rebel on February 20, 2010, 11:29:05 am
Just wondering how often people cleaned customers windows. Mine are all monthly, apart from a couple, but was maybe thinking of changing to a 6 weekly schedule. What do you think?

How can you charge double for only cleaning them every 8 weekly, people aren't stupid  >:(

I wouldn't pay £20 to get my windows cleaned every 8 weeks if I could get them done every 4 weeks for £10 each clean.

Another window cleaner will come along and seriously undercut you and offer the customer a much better service.

I've marked 4 weeks as the majority of ours are that, though we also have weeklys and fortnightlys (all commercial), 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 6 monthlys, and "on requests".

I voted monthly, although we work on a 4 weekly rota.

When we first started out 6 years ago 25% of our customer were every 8 weeks, now 39% of our customers are 8 weekly. Year on year the every 8 weeks is becoming stronger.

We sometimes add a little extra for every 8 weeks, but could never charge double.
