For the past few days now I have been trying to addapt my harris pole further to include a trigger to save my "magic water" and to get more from a tank.
So my question to you all is what do you use on yours if at all ???
Thanks Tom

Couple of choices....
Tap on a belt... You buy a leather holster and fit your tap in it.
Tap on the pole... Purefreedom sell a bracket you attatch to your pole that fits a tap
Trigger... Again attatched to your pole

bend the hose and hold?
-
well done fellas!
tried to addapt the trigger from a pump weed sprayer today works very wel mounted on the pole ,
however the loop of tube from the end of the pole to the tap looks lik a death trap for me ,!!
any thoughts ???

Any pics ?

I tuck my hose through my belt so my tap is almost on my hip, turn it off between windows, saves loads of water over the course of the day.

trigger on pole. sorry dont know how 2put pics on ::)
got it from polarbrite ;D

Forget the tap on your belt idea.
1) the taps ooze water once they get past the first few months of use - wet trousers
2) you dont want to be attached to you hose because if you are anything like me you have to keep putting it down then going back to clear where it has wrapped around something

Mine was leaking from new. Bit of PTFE tape and its not leaking anymore :D

Use one of these.

You cna attach it with a velcro cable tie and it will easily slide up and down so that you can adjust your grip on the pole.
Then bend an alloy strip into shape and wind your excess hose round that. It can be attached using velcro cable ties too.

Why dont you fix that hose tidy on with jubilee clips?
I use 3 sections of my unger pole, but on occasion use the 4th and 5th sections. Jubilee clips would be too much hassle to keep taking off. Plus I can slide the tidy up and down the pole if I need to.

I use Algarde pole hose, just fold and hold, I also have a small piece of thicker diameter hose tied to the pole, I can fold my pole hose and push the fold into the thicker piece of hose to stop the flow altogether when I leave the pole.

my new angle brush flow switch, is going out for testing with jeff1 reflections window cleaning, if jeff gives me good feedback and gives me the nod, i will start making them, early stages but works

Looks good!

they are ultra lite, no metals, i found them very good, you can turn it on by hand if on ground floor, tap it on top or bottom ledges to turn on/of, or as seen on the video, on the glass

I have fastened a tap to a tool clip the type you use to hang up your garden rake or spade the C shaped clip. Lined it with soft rubber then took a 22 old squeegee rubber which a put 2 holes 1" apart and this clips over the open c clip to locl it on the pole.
