Hi Guy
Does any of you use this pole and is it any good compared to the slx. I might order one soon but thought i would run it past you old pro first.

;) You know my answer James ;D

Is that the glass fiber one?
I saw it at the show last year and got one, I think it was the 20' one.
Did not like the clamps much as they seemed to catch on everything.
Lasted me about 8 months and I paid about £130.00 plus the vat.
It's not a bad pole.

I have the 35ft Fusion but have only had it a fortnight and just use it at that length for commercial. Its the updated model as the original one wore out quite quick and wasn't that rigid. I use an SLX for everyday domestics. Jason Green has had his a few months longer than me so he'd be the one to give you a better opinion. So far so good though. They are supposed to last years so we'll have to see.

cheers for that luther i want a 30ft one for daily work. i hope its as rigid as the slx pole.
-
I'd check the weights first as the Fusion feels heavy!
-
Fusion pole 30 weighs 2.7kg slx weighs 1.8kg. There seems to be not to many people on here that own them which could be saying some thing.
-
the fusion did have a few problems when it first come out (jason green would explain this )
but now its sorted its a good pole i wouldnt like to compare to the slx as ive never used 1 .
ive been happy with my facelift and wouldnt try to mend something that aint broken .

Hi dave is there much bend in the pole?
-
The fusion is a well made pole but its heavier and not as rigid as slx.
The fusion will in my opinion last longer than slx.
