Still sorting out the deal with Eddison's (some bureaucracy about the vehicle) but hope to collect next week.
We knew all about the freezing and there was another issue too but that was sorted properly by Prochem.

The van is huge but I have been studying all my jobs since it went up for auction and I don't think I would have struggled with any of them. No doubt there will be jobs where the portable has to come out but at least there is room to carry one. We will be selling our Hydramaster 421 in the coming weeks.

The 421 is about 4 yrs old with 950 hours (genuine). Great condition, oil change every 50hrs and serviced back at Hydramaster every 400 - the last one was in the autumn at 800.

We are in Hampshire.

Post by: slioch on March 06, 2010, 04:20:15 pm: Good points about the 421 - heat, economical on fuel, easy to do routine maintenance, heat, packs a bigger punch than you would imagine, heat, hot water tap for mixing presprays etc., reliable (never broken down on me yet. Did I mention the great heat?

Post by: slioch on March 06, 2010, 08:03:25 pm: We are getting more commercial work (did one today) and see the advantage of dual operator. We also do restoration work and the ability to work at greater distances with no loss of performance is attractive. Finally, at £17300 why not?
