hi what do you guys do or use to stop the wear of the locking of the pole sections. mine is so loose and just closes on me while working. also they are soooo stiff to undo. is it maybe make a new 1 time or is there a way round this?
-
Just buy a new one ;D
-
get a coke bottle and cut a strip of plastic about 1 cm thick then undo the clamps and above the threaded part stick the plastic into the jaws and wrap round, cut the plastic to size and stick the plastic into the final jaw. screw the clamp back on job done

Use the Cleantech pole - they sell replacement inner clamps, makes the pole last forever.

yes they do lewis, no need for coke bottles, just wrap 4 times round with insulating tape, then slit between the prongs, to stop the threads sticking, clean between the threads with a damp cloth before you leave in the morning, 5 sec job
