Driving along today, and suddenly notice huge amounts of smoke pumping out of my exhaust, pull over and turn off my engine, but without touching my accelerator it limits my rev counter, even more smoke exits my exhaust for about 30 seconds then engine dies. Blown turbo another 800 on top of the 900 I paid last month for a gear box. I love my 02 Citroen relay. Got a busy week so have had to take the front seat out of my 87 944 so I can fit my trolley and barrels in. It’s going to be in the garage for a week. I seem to be paying out more than I earn lately.
Happy Steve.

Sorry to hear that Steve. I used to have a Ducato - very similar model - never had any trouble with it, sold it to one of my franchisees and it's still going strong. Just the luck of the draw, I guess.

my turbo went on my berlingo just after christmas there paid a fortune to get it replaced then later found out i could probably of had it repaired for 280quid

It may not seem it mate, But changing things like turbos are not hard to do. Some can be time consuming, But not hard.
Seriously recommend you spend a day with some tool and a haynes Manuel. Dont pay to £80 a hour or what ever garages charge.
Would be able to get a replacement turbo for £200 or less pretty easily.
What ever you do, Hope you get to work soon and you get stuff sorted.

Yes Lammy I know the Parson, it’s about 5 mins from me.Ive picked up a few semis, but no big houses yet.Ive only been canvassing for a couple of weeks. Would love to fix the turbo myself but need to get out and earn some money, no time.
Thanks everyone
Steve.
