thinking of investing in wfp system.maybe a 400l set up.problem is the recession, have lost 25% of custys over the last year, had to let my helper go before xmas.major factory job loss in my area and many other custys in the construction industry which has gone too.would you take a chance on investing in one in such a situation
-
u could think.... if it aint broke, dont try n fix it. investing is never a bad thing, have u thought of
askin ur custys if they would b ok with the change ??? if they dont mind then go 4it.
as u can offer a bit more 2ur service ie. frames, windows over con roofs ect ect.
hpoe this helps ;D

Do it, Explain to the customers when you have it all of the benifits and the extra services they will be getting free of charge (frames + doors) stay cleaner, no more ladder marks in lawn etc, and if they do have newbies nocking they will more than likely not be offering what you are!
Also you will earn m ore omney after a while, If there is more work available to you.

a basic starter WFP system doesnt need to cost the earth, we have seen people build systems for well under 500 quid
its not alot of money if your customers do not like it ( though we will have people reply with " do not let your customers dictate how you clean them, your the boss " but i dont buy that "
smallish RO system
back pack
pole and brush

thanks matt, but i dont think a backpack would be enough, how many average 3 bed semis could be cleaned per day with backpack?
-
dont underestimate the back pack mate, by the time ive got my reel out the van and pole my lad is round the back working away and he always finishes before me in fact if i was to do it all again i would have two backpacks and the only time a van mount would be needed would be large commercial, however i am sure loads will disagree

Go for an Omnipole Trolley or something similar, that's what I did. I carry about 100 ltrs in 4 tanks with me to fill it up as I go.

I regularly do 20 redrow detached in a day, with just a backpack (sometimes on a trolley.
I'm doing 35% more in a day than I did trad, from just 3 months ago
