How many of you canvass for new work even though you have a full round?
Why?
Best method?

I do this in order to gain higher paying customers and pruning off the lower paid jobs I took on at the beginning in order to get a start.
I look at my round like a Christmas tree with the low payers the straggly, unhealthy branches at the bottom and the great jobs at the top and really healthy. As I keep adding and the tree becomes even more healthy, the tree gets pruned!! ;D

Exactly the same here.
Also it varies the job a bit to have new accounts and new areas.
Got to try not to let them get too spread out though.

I've often thought about it. Just canvass in the best paying areas and really close that round in.
I get a lot of calls as I'm sure we all do and this is good business. But I dont think its worth taking any on unless its in a good area with potential.

It's the same with us.
We're always on the look out for better paying work which means, unfortunately, that the less well paying customers do often get passed on to another window cleaner.
Cheers
