Hi been looking into getting a Google sponsored link. Any of you guys got one and does it generate enough interest to warrant the large price tag.

out of interest what is the price tag and wht does it get you?

Sponsored links always appear at the top of the google search page in highlighted yellow boxs.  From what i can find out prices start from around 2k

It really doesn't work for the money, I used adwords and find that just listing my website which cost nothing actually worked better.
