-
not heard that but mine had a censor go a few months ago and it wouldn't let any fuel through, van off road for 2 days.

Ive got the Nissan Primaster when iam driving sometimes the gauge goes up instead of down and acording to the oil gauge ive been driving 3 years without any oil these vans must be the worst vans ever made.

The dealer I brought my primastar from last year had a vivaro in aswell, which had the same problem as yours when I had drive in it, it is only a sensor, he said about £30 to buy, he fixed it but then I brought the Primastar instead because it was better deal

I don't trust mine.
Sometimes 20 quid gives me 2 bars. Sometimes a tenner won't get it off empty.
Sometimes I do 50 miles without losing a bar. Other times I do 5 miles and it beeps.
Much rather have a dial.

I am amazed anyone buys these vans just from what I read on here,The sad thing they are a good looking van.

Don't believe the waffle on here. A million people can't be wrong.
Aside from that gauge I've had 20,000 miles trouble free very nice motoring.

my gauge does the same as squeeky on my traffic just reset milage every time i fill up and keep my eye on that
door handle at rear snapped inside ordered new £35.00 took me 2 mins to swap over thats the only problem ive had with mine (touch wood)

I only notice it happening in really cold weather. I'm sure it's been fine except for weather like recently. ???
And yeah, I do reset the trip every fill!
To be on the safe side I just go by £10=50 miles, £20=100 miles, £40=200 miles etc...
Probably does a bit better (massively on a run!), but it ensures I'm safe.
That works out about 32 mpg, but I took it down to Sussex last year and got nearly 50mpg!

thanks its just mine is flashing

Got the trafic 54 plate.
Get around 500-600 per tank.
Just had cam belt/alternator belt/pulley done (only done 53,000 miles but now 5 yrs old) cost £650.00 including service and MOT. Expensive, yeah, but it has given me 5 yrs of trouble free motoring, lugging 650 ltr water 53,000 miles. Love my van, will be sorry when I have to change.
By the way I have the dial diesel gauge.
