Title: Reach and Wash System!!

Hi,

Really new to this and I've just been offered the system below, Please can you all give me your thoughts on this? What do you think this system is worth?  I think it is roughly about 4 months old.

reach and wash system
35ft carbon, water fed pole
400l baffled tank
varistream controller
surflow 100psi water pump
100m 8mm microbore hose and reel
tds metre
di-ironised vessel
produces 100% ultra pure water

What's the pole, how much and why's it up for sale and any custies with it? - are the first Q.'s that come to mind!

Be carefull about the "produces 100% ultra pure water" cos if you only run a di vessel it will be costly unless you pre- filter the water prior to filling your tank!!  I speak from personal experience.

   Dose the pre-filtration system also come with the deal??

How can it be 'ultra pure' you can't get purer than pure.
just be careful, it could be a bag of crap.

I can't see an RO listed, so if you live in a hard water area then your resin in the DI vessel will last a very short time.  Check your tap water tds if it's well over 100 ppm then it's probably a good idea to get an RO.  The rest looks good though although you've not listed the make of the pole.

Whats the TDS of the tap water where you live and whats the pole exactly?

You say Reach and Wash. Check to see if it's branded by Ionics - they are the only cpmpany to use those words.
If it is and it's genuine then a) it should be a good system and b) it's probably going to cost an arm and a leg.

You have a list there of all the bits you need with the possible exception of a Reverse Osmosis system (cost about £300)

Do some on-line research and find out for yourself what it would cost to assemble them all then decide if it's worth it.
