Title: READ THIS IF YOU HAVE OR DONT HAVE aviva van insurance

Just got some news today, that my van is not insured like I was told it waS AS AVIVA DO NOT INSURE MORE THAN A 250L WATER TANK. (brokers words not mine)

GOOD NEWS FOR YOU GUYS THAT HAVE A SMALL TANK FITTED, BAD NEWS FOR PEOPLE THAT HAVE MORE THAN 250L TANK.


iF YOU USE THEM i WOULD GIVE THEM A CALL ASAP, Thank god I query when I get my new policies to make sure im covered with a tank in the van.

thanks for that i was going to get a qoute of them this week so will make sure the tank is covered, out of interest which insurance companies are others using and would they recomend them.

A Plan. They ask what size tank you have fitted and if its bolted to chassis or not. Always been the cheapest last 5 years. All my vans are Insured through Equity Red star.

I get a courtesy van with a reach and wash system fitted if my van is off the road for any reason.

A plan aswell. Just got to keep on eye on escalating premiums with them, managed a £70 reduction this year as they do NOT automatically take depreciation of systems into account (unlike vehicles), and will only pay out second hand market values, so reducing the value of system insured over the phone brings down the premium.
Got to keep a close eye on these insurance companies!!
