As I wandered around the local garden center this weekend i noticed one of these! looks simular to the ones on e bay with the obvious difference to the original options !!
Has anyone managed to adapt one to use it sucsessfully to clean windows?
If so what is the flow rate/pressure like will it require small jets in the brush to help the thing to be effective?
have you got any helpfull tips on this one.

If you only do the odd window then they will be fine. They aren't any good for doing larger numbers of windows. Smaller jets might work best, but you can use standard jets too.

when i first took over some commercial work , we had some 2nd storey work, didnt have the ladders for that height and i didnt fancy the height anyways
so we used a hand pumped back pack, it worked well enough, at 2nd storey though with the long poll, we had 1 pump and the other pole
i have a house that has 2 windows that are right the way around the rear of the house and up 200 odd steps, i still just grab the pump and take the pole and that up, if you have a little tap on the pole, close the tap, pump till you cannot pump anymore ( its about 8 pumps on mine ) then grab the pole and open the tap so water comes out, i can get 2 windows done on 1 set of pumps
it works ok to be honest
