whats the best wazy of getting larger jobs that suit wfp

Shawn - why not offer free demo or bite the bullet and do complete clean for nowt to win the customers over - it would be worth it in the long run - just got my system (almost, anyway) and would do that myself - I have a whole bunch of town houses crying to be converted to wfp and it would be great not to have to use the ladders on them -
as for commercial, its part grind and part luck - phoning, knocking etc. you'll def pick work up if you persist
your deal sounds good by the way - I paid nearly 500 just for the pole - 30 ft omnipole -
good luck winning them trad customers over

mine is omnipole powerpole 40ft or so . bought it second hand ... still need a bit more before i can start up ... i will see what they say .. mite just try that

I`ve had a few who previously employed a WFP fella, he left a negative impact on them. I clean them WFP and they`re as happy as Larry! Prove to them you get bad trad guys as well as WFP. If they ain`t happy with the results tell them you`ll re-do them.

you have to be firm with your customers
when i first started going wfp from trad i told my customers the reason for doing so ..... H&S issues
then i made it very clear that no more ladder work for me whilst w/cleaning
out of intire round i only lost 3 calls but have gained so many more since
reasons being i am quicker so have more time to take on more work also able to reach windows that have not been cleaned before
what is the point in making a big investment on wfp just to stay on the ladder?
as i said be firm and you will convert them
good luck

Picked up a customer who had had a WFP fella before me yesterday was not happy with results,So to calm him down I explained that I would give windows and frames a first clean routine and told him that I guaranteed my work any problems ring me and I'll come straight back and redue until its right (use this line with all new customers to date no phone calls or complaints in over 3 years)

Hi Shawn
I'm starting of by just doing the windows that are hard to get to and dangerous. The rest of the house I will do the old way. I will explain to them why I am doing it that way and let them know it will be a few cleans before they come up really good.
The month before you start using your system it may be a good idea to clean the frames by hand. Then when you come to using the pole it will not take so long and the customer will be happy.
