Title: Problem With My Purefreedom Van System
Post by: incey on February 05, 2010, 09:23:34 pm
Had a 500l twin operator van system fitted a week last tuesday, Used it on the wednesday and now its fooked >:( >:( >:(. Had a few cold nights the other day but had an oil filled radiator on low all night to prevent any problems. Came to turn on the flowmasters yesterday and the fuse blew, Changed the fuse and now instead of flashing BAT on the flowmasters they have gone tits up, Not charging when the van is running and when switched on just broken letters showing on the display.

Can anyone help me with advice on how to sort it out, P*SSED off is an understatement as like i said only used it for bout 6 hours so far and it set me back £3300  :'( :'( :'(.

I would have thought that your 1st port of call should be Pure Freedom. Give them a ring!

I have phoned on a few ocassions and spoken to Andrew Bramley. he's a nice guy and he WILL sort out the problem for you.

Give him a ring tomorrow morning. It's by far better than asking for help on here.

Yes, till about lunchtime.

You said the system was fitted, so assuming you dont live too far away then it would be even better to take the van back and let them have a look.

I had this exact problem with my Purefreedom van system. Kept changing the fuse. Eventually they sent me a new digital flow controller - no blown fuse / problems (touch wood!) since I changed it. Good luck.
