I have a rojak and it is a handy bit of kit. I would recommend you get one if using ladders.

Get the 'rubber articulated feet' that bolt to the bottom of your ladders, first. They are a permanent attachment - you have to carry a 'Rojac' ladder stopper seperately.

There are several suppliers of these, charging between £18 and £30 for the same thing. Shop around.

Why are you not using them?

spikes are unbeatable for soft ground as they embed themselves into the ground and the ladders will not move also a must are the rubber mits for the end of the ladders these stick to the cills when you need to reach whilst up yr ladder and also will protect yr customers cills from scratching.
get your spikes fitted on at the ladder place were u purchase them I,ve used them for 20 yrs and never had a problem with them.
