Hi Matt,
Don't know if you've read my other recent post ('Your opinions please') but i'm looking for a reasonably priced 45' pole and can't seem to find any from main suppliers.
Is there any way I can contact you to discuss my current sitiuation. I've been told you may be able to help me.
Regards,
Lance

Lance I owe you one, if I can help.

Cheers Jeff, hope things are going well for you.
Can't seem to source a 45' pole similar to the ones I currently use (I thnk they're Streamline brand, maybe Extel or Excel Hybreds) for under £650.
Once you get to 45' they all seem to be Carbon fibre which is expensive.
I'm open to suggestions on any 45'ers on the market and not really bothered about weight and flexibility because i'm only using it once every 3 months on around twelve 4th floor sash windows. Hence the reason I don't want to spend a huge amount on the pole.
I put another post on here last night titled 'your opinions please' because there's a pole on ebay for £350 but it's Silver anodised aluminium and I have no idea what this type of pole would be like.
Any thoughts on how to get me to 45' at a descent price would be much appreciated. I've already thought of buying a big trampoline ;D ;D ;D
Regards
Lance

I have used an adapted unger at 45ftish its abnsolute ell, go carbon fibre with an M16 and it will increase your speed on the lower windows and pay for its self. Cheapest would be a diy Cheshire fishing pole http://www.cheshirefishing.co.uk/shop/mappoles.htm#m16 gets you to 43ftish if you want to go higher you can with 5ft-5" extension sections- about £65 each

Is there anywhere that you can buy them already modified for window cleaning or do you have to alter them yourself.
How do you get a gooseneck and brush attached to the end of a fishing pole. Does it have a threaded end on it???
Cheers,
Lance

Cheers Matt,
Just a couple of questions.
What do you do with the hose that feeds the brush head with water supply. Do you just attach it to the outside of the pole. If so, what's the best thing to use.
How small does the pole collapse down to. I've only got a small van (Fiat Doblo) and was hoping to get a pole that would fit inside.
Cheers,
Lance

in the ionics catalogue, they have a 40ft multipole (glass fibre) for £220, including bruch, crank and hose.
Also a carbon fibre multpole (45ft) for £327.
