MoemGorod means (approximately) "My Town" or "My City". And that is the name of Vadim's company. He is based in St. Petersburg ex Leningrad (1924 - 1991) ex Petrograd (1914 to 1924) ex St Petersburg (pre 1914). There are about 5 million people there so it's pretty big! And it is in the very south-east corner of the Baltic Sea, about 300 miles north of Moscow.
I think Vadim was at college/uni in Shropshire at one time which is why his English is better than ours! ;D

Hi mates and thank you for your interest.
My name is Vadim Bokhanovich and I am from 2nd biggest city in Russia - St Petersburg. I was learning English 6 weeks in Severnvale Academy in Shrewsbury / Shropshire in 2000. Lovely place and therefore my son studied in Severnvale last summer as well.
Matt is right. Of course, we have couple of cleaning forums in Russia and CIS, but WFP was not so well known in Russia.
In 2007 I set up the window cleaning company MoemGorod (CleanCity in russian) using traditional WC tools from Unger and was dreaming to start 1st WFP in Russia and CIS. And after the half of year in 2008 we were educated and supported by Alex Gardiner and by this perfect forum as well. I was reading it from the start for 3-4 months 4-5 hours a day. THANK you very much. Huge amount of practice knowlegdes. We made first 2 vans and started to clean our city. More than once we were asked to made the same van for customers an so we started to import WFP equipment and tools from GB. Last year we made 88 WFP kits (vans, RO-DI and DI trolleys) supplying GPS and Baudoin carbon poles to 46 cities in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Mongolia and even OAE.
We explain WFP in all forums, magazines in Russia and CIS, educate and train people in special traning programms every month:

Every year we visit Birmingham or Coventry and Amsterdam for the cleaning trade show for the our company progress. We take part in russian cleaning exhibitions as exhibitor. And, of course, we practice cleaning St Petersburg and producing WFP kits every day and spend lots af hours in THIS respected forum.
Thanks again to all of you for the interest and for this forum as well. I feel myself the small part of this forum now. And this is very helpfull for our everyday work in Russia. We love WFP and could speak about this method 24 hours a day.
Warmest regards.
Vadim

Thank you all and we are really suprised with your appreciations of our wfp job in Russia. We are simply fans of this great technology, thanks to Mr Irvin "Irv" Tucker, Mr Don Newman - http://www.moemgorod.com/index.php?ukey=news&blog_id=14&did=35 (available in English).
17 and 18 of March I will visit Cornwall and looking forward to see Alex and to visit his office as well. I think it would be the big gap in progressing of our WFP knowlegies.
regards,
Vadim

Vadim, I love what you do, and your pioneering spirit! Your vans look fantastic, and the training courses look brilliant!
I would love to be in a position like yours, breaking down walls, and introducing new technologies.
Well done!
