my partners Dad used to clean a few car showrooms and got a few k out of them each year. anyway they always got their money back as bought anew car off them every 2 /3 years approx. Anyways a few year ago he was told a cleaning company would be doing the showrooms from now on. he spoke with one of the managers and said he was sad they were not using his services anymore and he also told them that they alwyas got the money back as he always bought cars from them sales manager understood all this and said it was out of his hands.
he then told them that he wouldn't be buying any more cars from them and sales guy knew that was gonna happen. anyways yesterday said cleaning compnay got the sack as someone had undercut him jus tlike he did with her Dad. Guy is now down 18k in money.
karma is a cant! LOL

but that is this business all over, someone will always undercut you, because there will always be some newbie who thinks great got a show room for next to nothing or some older wc who just doesnt care and wants all the work

thins is if they kept her dad on they would have been getting windows done for nothing and also getting a good sale every 2 years roughly. since losing that job he has had another 5 vehicles in total. LOL

true, but then never look at it like this, all they look at is what it costs a month

Hi
And the DP (Dealer Principal) gets paid a % monthly bonus on monthly profit. So every bit they save means more in their pockets. They will never make a decision based on what might happen 2 years down the line. After all they probably won't be there anyway.
I can remember we didn't have heating in our showroom for the remainder of one winter after the boiler packed up, and it wasn't replaced until well into the winter of the following year, and only happened after the CEO visited. Our DP had a fan heater in his office and didn't care about anyone else in the showroom.
IMO there's a greed culture that has crept in to most sales and services companies.
