Ettore easily the best for me but don`t always use it and  dearer than most. Not tried Sorbo though.
I use it until I think it`s had enough.

Do most guys use soft rather than hard rubbers?

What's the difference - does it come down to durability?

it should be lasting you a lot longer than two days mate at least two weeks per side try perservering with it i usually find they are good when you first change them then after a few days they leave the odd line just sgeegie back across it again and eventually your rubber will break in and last you a lot longer

I use ettore rubbers they last me around a month unless i get a big nick in it, like others say you need to keep using it and it will bed in does not take long. if you cant buy the pulex ones there cheap in bulk so wont cost as much if it only lasts a week

Ettore. They're all pretty rubbish, but it's the best of the bunch by a long way.

Ettore soft, normaly get 2/3 weeks before turning round. Normaly find the 2nd side doesnt last too long though! This seems about the average time, the w/c's that are only getting a couple of days are doing summit wrong!

Ettore soft is my preference, when full on trad a rubber would last me anything up to a month or so, and as Jarvy said, it is so odd that once you turn the rubber to use the other side, that fresh side is knackered in no time at all...even though it is in mint condition when you turn it!!! ???

Pulex hard, I bought 100 strips and trad once a week maybe  ::) think the rubber will out last me, I found the soft rubber would nick more easy so tried hard liked it, and never went back to soft.

When I was full on trad, I changed my rubber everyday, for the sake of £1.00 it is a no brainer.

I use to change mine every 2 weeks, I find it takes a day or 2 to wear them in.

i agree with dave st ives new rubber =less detailing therfore less time per window =more money thats why mine only last 1-2 days .

Dont go right to the edge with the mop, that will cut down on detailing.
