Same here, Fridge freezer packed up and theres me thinking that I could get a good one for £200. I walk out of currys £465 worse off. My other f/freezer was only 2 years old. The mrs said we should get the extended warrenty but I didnt think it was worth it, if we did then it would have been replaced. Bugger

Try looking on ebay. Brand new, a heater would cost about £1000 inc. VAT. Type in Ebersphacher or Webasto. These are the 2 most common makes, and make sure you get a 12v not 24v.

Ive upped my daily target for earnings by 10%, by working that bit harder and Ive ditched all my bad payers and low priced jobs..  still got to try and get the owed money off the bad payers though.. I could have done with that money when the snow was here, so ditching the bad payers is a lesson learnt in itself.

the weather did affect me but not enough to stop me paying the bills!i always save a bit each week for an emergency fund anyway.

as long as i can pay my bills and keep ticking over during the bad winter months im not bothered! ;D ;D

thats the bottom line! :) :)
