Only if some idiot householder sprayed it on his window hinges and oversprayed. Bet he misses the bog in the same way too when he has a pee! ;D

That`s not really household though. The bogs in t`backyard.
And why would you spraying WD40 anyway? Your vandalism aside they were very overrated and did a lot of cover versions.

Stan but if you buy a pole with a brush on it you will double your income in 2 years.

That's assuming you double your number of customers in 2 years.

why spray them with wd40 it only attarcts dirt and makes it stick if he wants shiny frames why does he not use a interior car cleaner  i use armorall wipes on my front door does'nt affect wfp but keeps door shiny black

trad and wfp are just different tools for window cleaning! shouldnt be against each other!

the wfp advantages far out way the advantages of trad!

you clearly dont have much commercial work - alot of commercial sites have a no ladder policy! with an onsite h&s officer

Or halves the time between  cleans.  ;)

Yes, but i am always being told that wfp gives a more lasting result than trad...therefore few cleans required  ???

Problems I find with wfp.

1. Often leaves bee/fly spots or bird poo residue, partly because you don't see it and can be real pain to shift wfp.
2. Sometimes get runs from top of frame.
3. Upstairs sills can be hard to clean
4. Don't know how good finish is as window left wet.
5. Not all customers like it (majority would prefer trad.)
6. Still have my concerns of accelerated deterioration of wooden surfaces.

This is apart from equipment problems we experience from time to time and trying to work out which is best brush, pole etc. I have been wfp 4 years.

Doesn't that amount to the same thing?  Or are you saying that a piece of glass cleaned trad gets dirty more quickly than a piece of glass cleaned wfp?

i agree to apoint with dd but that is just a small prob every once in a blue moon but aint it great been wfp all this week it has been cold damp and misty and i can still get thourgh a load of work ,  if i had been trad i would have been chewing on,  takes twice as long detailing and trousers end up with mud all over from muddy gardens and going up and down ladder

i agree with prowindow on cleaning trad in this cold damp weather!i came in after working in the rain today and i was soaked and mud all up the sides of my jeans/boots.detailing is a nightmare esp with a trad pole when its damp! ::)
