Post by: jonnyald on February 03, 2010, 08:27:46 am
have you done any?  - my cars now got no front passenger seat so my ladder lays down lower and where the seat was is a  slatted wood 6 ft sledge for the ladder to slide in quickly on

2 seats behind the tank for the nippers is my window wagon. When they start arguing you just turn the music up... Can't hear them then. Every parent should have one ;D

no joke- its a split second to shunt the triple ladder in and out. i varnished the topdeck of the laddersledge so very low friction.if i see some tiny rollers in a shop , might fit them onto the top of the sledge surface.

i could buy a roofrack but this would slow me up- plus wind drag from roofrack, tho i admit thats a minor point.

Fitted a roller shutter on the back instead of doors!!! Also put a shelf in the back at wheel arch height, allows me to put the reel at a comfortable height and leaves space underneath for all other stuff. The shutter means i dont have the hose catching on the doors and you dont have them closing on you!!the other thing is i can drive around without bothering to close the back all of the time!!
