Title: What a relief!!!!!!
Post by: Colin Day on February 02, 2010, 09:26:49 pm
On a job today, I pre sprayed, agitated and set the hoses up..... Switched No's 1,2,3 motors on then flicked the rocker switch for the pump..... Nothing, not even a murmur ???

The light was illuminated and the circuit breaker hadn't popped so I was really starting to wonder what the snag was...... After a few moments of choice words and a lot of head scratching, I took the back off the machine. (Switching off at the mains of course!) After 10 seconds, I realised that the electrical connections had quite innocently, parted. After a quick nip with the pliers and a reattachment of the electrical connector..... We were back in action !!!!! What a relief :)

I was all set for emptying the machine and losing out on a days work...... Moral of the story, keep your tool kit handy! ;)

Not something you expect on a nearly-new machine :-\

Good job you're used to fiddling with machines ;)

If any doubt can you not use a spot of loctite (sp) Same people who make super glue. Generally used for nuts/bolts but the bond can be easing broken. It may not be suitable or the right stuff if not there must be something similar.
