Title: Loncin Genny
Post by: rg1 on February 01, 2010, 01:39:40 pm
Does anybody use a 110v extension cable with a generator (Loncin 6500)

The reason I ask is cos I've heard stories of power drop out.

Hi,  i have answered this question before,  but i know what it's like doing a search on this forum ;D

anyway yes you can use a extension cable upto but not beyond 80 metres, you experience slight voltage drop but neither you or i would notice ( and i am a time served sparkie with 23 years experience) so dont listen to what people or especially omnipole say,  this genny is a real work horse. ;)
