Title: Backpack question.
Post by: G Griffin on February 01, 2010, 09:47:48 am
The Shurflo backpack comes with a lance attached. How difficult is it to remove this to then attach a pole to it?

                   Thanks in advance.

Cut the hose and if you got 6mm microbore then it fits inside the hose you cut off, just jubilee clip it and attach your pole connector to the other end.

Thanks John. But I would need to add a connection to attach the pole to the backpack hose wouldn`t I?
The pole has hoselock connection btw.

Oh sorry, I use the 6mm couplers.
You'd need something like one of these connectors to get to hozelock

Even lighter if you stick it on a shopping trolley frame. That piece of blue plastic keeps the battery box dry as a bone.
