Title: Ordered my Joka Polars today
Post by: Blue Frog Systems on January 31, 2010, 10:34:23 pm
With the weather being as it has these past few days I decided to stop trying to make cheap gloves up from odds & sods and spend on a real pair after having spent a fortune on sealskinz and binned them.

Have been listening out to everyones thoughts and experiences with the Joka's and apart from not itching your nose, they sound the part.

funny enough i was planning to today aswell, last night some1 paid me 275 quid with paypal, so i thought i would spend it, i had my eye on a ipod touch, some new gloves and a dutch oven for camping

we then popped out and stopped of at B&Q to buy some seed spuds and looked at some gloves , i remembered others had said about them, so i thought, what the hell, i will give them a whirl

You won't be disappointed with polars. Just make sure you dry the liner AND outer overnight, as they do get a little damp from your hands sweat!

radiator overnight is sufficient.

insides get smelly after couple of weeks, but are washable, so its all good.

these gloves are bulky and unsightly, but who cares, the do the job. awesome grip too.
