ok keep ya knickers on you dont need a tds 4 unless your using hot water what you need is a tds 3 that gives you a tds reading and also enables you to hold the reading ..............tds1 just gives you a reading without it holding does that help
-
essentially pure tds meters 07950 706623 for water fed poles accesories

I bought a TDS1 off Ebay - have I bought the wrong type then??
-
no a tds 1 is still ok but dont think you can hold the reading but it does the same job they all do but some have different features.
-
Hi,
I have a TDS meter that can hold the reading but I have never asled what the hold button is for, can someone explain for me please.
Thanks
JOHN

The hold button just locks the tds reading so you can look at it. If you hade a model without a hold button as soon as you take the meter out of the water the reading disapears.

Thanks for the original posting H2O, I thought a TDS meter was just that. Didn't realise there were different ones. As someone that is just starting to get his WFP kit together the information given in the replies is invaluable. I'm learnig a bit more every day, Dai
