Title: green light staying on (varistream)

other day we had  acold snap and my hose reel and delivery hose to the reel from pump froze up even though everything is lagged. Anyway today i removed the delivery hose from outlet of pump to the reel to thaw out. Once done i place back on and checked pump was running. All ok at this point but when i close the valve on hosereel the pump winds up in speed till it stops but the green light stays on now. Prior to all of this it would go red and flick on / off every so often to green but then back to red.

any ideas what has changed here.

Have you got the digital one, Mine isnt and when I turn my hose off it stays green.

yeah digital one with numbers showing up 1-9. I thought ours would be the same as we both got them from PF round the same time

green light staying on and not flashing is normal

Early Varistream - analogue

Mine changes to Red when the flow is stopped at the valve.  There is a short burst of green every few seconds as it checks to see if the valve has been re-opened.

Not sure why yours has changed.

went back out later and it's back to feckin normal  ???

Mine has recently been switching itself on!! today it changed its mind and now switches itself off!!!

I might be wrong, but I think the green light is and indicator of the battery's condition that it's drawing power from ???

I also have found that my varistream digital sometimes switches itself on during the night!

I am going to put an off / on switch on the power lead as it comes out of the leisure battery
