Title: bad knee.........!
Post by: dazmond on January 26, 2010, 04:47:55 pm
i noticed last week my right knee was giving me a bit of pain.ive had a bit of trouble on and off for years but this morning it was really sore!im still weeks behind with work but decided i better rest it today in case i do more damage! ::)the sooner i go wfp the better i think.16 years of trad cleaning are taking there toll methinks!im 38 and 6ft/2in but im 18 stone! ::)i think its a combination of ladder work and being this heavy! ::)

i take cod liver oil/glucosamine every day and took 2 paracetmol/ibuprofen before.anyone else had knee pain and have u managed to get rid of it?ive lost 4 lbs last week so im losing weight.any suggestions?hope i dont have to take the week off! ::) ::)

Hi im not as big as you guys 5.6" 15 stone i had a motor bike crash 4 years ago and broke my knee, i  am in to weight lifting and my knee plays up a lot i have found the more water you drink the less your joints hurt also rapeseed is very good for your joints i get it at tesco and health shops the only other thing to do is wrap your knee which will support it and also keep the cold out and wear waterproof trousers so your leg does not get wet from your applicator when in your holster hope this helps

Dazmond

when you say you take cod liver oil is that the capsules or straight from the bottle ?

if its capsules then you wanna swap to the bottle as the capsules have hardly any oil in them and then need to be broken down before the oil is released,  where as the liquid is straight into your system and joints.

a spa bath is also good as are those elasticated bandages

about a year ago i had a check up at my local health centre . i knew i was overweight but was woken up to be told how much

Im 6ft1 and 15stone

the nurse looked up the info and told me depending on build ,i should be anywhere between 9.5stone and 12.5 stones  .  im hoping that a combination of the gruelling work coming up and cutting back on my CORN,i can at least get down to 13stone  by autumn .

I think those index's are bull,If i was as light as they recommended then i would be like a lath!!! I went down to just under 15 stone when i split up with ex,and people were telling me i should not lose any more,I would be happy to be 15 stone,34" waist 34" leg (jeans fitted a treat!!)
