I am still employed full time but started part-time wc in October last year in the hope that eventually I could go full time. Since then, I have been out at every available opportunity to canvass for work and during that time, I decided to try a little experiment.
Back in October, I selected one housing estate in the area I live in and put flyers through all the letterboxes. A total of approximately 250.
During October, I never got a single call so in December, I used a different flyer, a more basic one to the original and repeated the process. This time, I got two calls.
Last weekend, I went to the same estate and over the course of Saturday and Sunday, I knocked on every door asking if they would like their windows cleaned. I came away with 27 new customers!!
I think this goes someway to proving that when more experienced guys on here give you advice, don't go away and think about it or dismiss it, act on it at the first opportunity.

basic flyers work, best thing to do is drop leaflets and put in the custys mind about a wc then knock a few days later, i seem to get best results from doing this
