HI, ive set my new merlin ro up and just need to add the di resin filter, ive got a 29.9ltr vessel(empty at the moment),once ive put my water through the merlin ro,
how long should the resin last using a 25ltr bag? i should be using (very loose guess)about 150 ltrs of water a day for the moment, hope to use a lot more as better jobs come in. ;D

Hi Roy,
What's your tap water TDS, and what reading do you get from your Merlin ?

Roy,
That's why your resin life is so long. Your system probably removes 98% of the 118 ppm in your tap water, and you're then feeding your resin with product water at only 2 or 3 ppm TDS. If your tap water was, say 400ppm, and you were using a Merlin, you'ld be feeding water at 28 ppm to your resin, and it would only last one tenth as long.
Horses for courses !
