another question you might want to ask is
How many are wfp only, No trad.
I have met a few lately who are totally hopeless with a squeegie
-
im 16 years trad only but i will be adding wfp this year as well as a van/logo d polo shirts etc.i will probably be mainly wfp by the end of the year with a bit of trad here and there when needed!im also competent with many years of using extension poles so i dont think wfp will be much of a strain on my already oversized arms and shoulders!! ;) ;) ;D ;D

Im one of those ;D ;D
15 years carpets and upholstery cleaning business slowed off so i bought a second hand diy wfp system
3 month later bought a van mount and a trolley and never looked back still clean carpets when i get time
I do the odd window with a squeegie but like dave said im useless
99.0% wfp here

It doesn't take much to practice with a squeegie just to get you up to speed.
its always useful to trad some windows and its a handy skill to have, even if it means you can do a few bungalows when you are waiting for a part to be delivered or what ever.

I think you should start a trad, trad and wfp, and wfp only poll Ewan and see what it comes up with.
This poll really does not give correct results as one option was missing, it would be interesting to know the answer of the next one should it be started by you or I.

90% wfp ...
but enjoy having the odd day on my trusty squeegie, doing shops etc :)

started in this business 3 years ago , 100% wfp apart from doing a few insides which i use a combination of trad and vikan easyshine , to be honest i would,nt have entertained it as a business if i had,nt found the pole being sold on the net , i have to say the earnings have exceeded all my expectations and i wish i,d done it 10 years ago regards alan

These people are not "Window Cleaners"
"They are water fed pole operators"
