wa stlaking to one of my customers today and she told me that i wa sno longer required as i keep leaving marks on windows. I asked what ones and was told the fronts. The windows are double glazed with the black seal aropiund the windows. I told he ri will ladder the front from now on and continue doing thr backs with wfp still.
Late rom i was walking by anothe rhouse i do and noticed marks on one of the windows also. WFP is good but it aint all it's cracked up to be by some on here. It suits some windows whilst others is utter crap on i feel.

Ive noticed some of these too but sometimes its down to the seals and not always the fault of the system its more the fault of the user, and yes that includes me too :)
-
i suspect the seals but still not good as it looks terrible
-
i have put certain marks down to seals apart from that bird muck can be a real swine to shift at times but we cant get it right every single time even if trad
-
What sort of marks - spots or greasy smuges?
-
Seals that 'bleed' need to be rinsed more thoroughly. IME once you stop scrubbing they stop 'bleeding' but still have to rinse away.
-
looks like someone has sprayed dirty water down the window. i am overly careful when working and sometimes spend too much time on windows with wfp
-
I have one property with white seals that are perished - they have a greasy feel to them if you run your finger over them. My water always reacts by bubbling when I rinse. I avoid running the brush over them at al costs otherwise I get trails of dirty water running down them.

Black seals that run like squids ink need to wiped or detailed the first time you do them.Ie run a cloth round them before you start.
This will only need doing once. Future visits will be problem free.

well i cleaned the whole frame and opend up the small windows and cleaned around the back of window and frame also and still ye ge tmarks. That window now gets done trad

Repeat; Black seals need to be wiped clean.
If they are old and oxidised every time you wipe them black will come off, but far far less after they have been properly wiped.
You could still get the odd problem, but this will solve 99% of running seal problems.
If you don't want the answers don't ask.
