hi anyone have any reviews on the airflex yet
the 600psi or other
would like to consider
drying times average ( ok always a hard one depending on type of carpet humidity, airflow, heat etc working psi
just an average drying time?
working at say 300 psi
is the inline heater reliable and hot , as i beleive it has no internal heaters
construction .....
noise....
overall ........... reliability of pumps, as not heard of this manufacturer and vacs although trusted and proven lamb amtek
thanks
rated compared to others out there ..... difficukt i know

Vac motors no problem, they are Lambs and as long as you don't honk a load of water through and run them for 5 mins while you pack away they will last. The 600 psi pump is reliable too, 500 hrs service, mines done around a 100 no problems, again flush with cold water if you like chems in the solution tank.
Construction and build quality is superb. Switches etc are at the top of the machine so no bending and there's a pressure gauge. To open the machine, two bolts flip the top against the wall. vacs unit then flips out leaving plenty of room to work. It's a nicely thought out machine.
Performance. Compare to my twin Alltec worlds apart. Lots more power worked at 100ft and it's fine. Drying times are subjective all I can say is I've never been called back! Did a minging pub used a lot less water than I did with the twin vac, cleaned overnight, popped in for payment later in the morning and it was perfectly dry, about 5 hours but could of been a lot less.
Not tried the heater..
Noise is not as bad as you would think, there is a silencer that fits onto the exhaust port which quietens things down enough to have a conversation. I simply leave it outside anyway.
Can't compare to other tripples not used them, Alltec's quality build is excellent I've used their twin vacs for years but the GRP bodies are heavy but it is a lovely machine,. Scorpion did not have a pressure gauge and I felt it looked rather dated, just an opinion. The Airflex is lighter than the Alltec and has a much more modern design than the Scorpion in my opinion.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the Airflex, had it a few months with no problems at all and Matt is great to deal with. Yes it's a new(ish) machine but the internals are trustworthy and it's very well built. I hear one of the franchises have just switch to Airflex and i'm sure it was very well tested.

Simon

Looks like a good machine and I see it has a brake.
I remember a 1 week old Steampro rolling away from me and
crashing down some stairs (outside).
Matt will see things through if there`s any problems.

hi guys thanks for that
have had many portys in the past and if going back to one just want the best
alltec are good i know bit pricey though and if they got away from the fibre glass
i would probably give it ago as i once had a pro plus but only 100 psi

I'v run my 600psi 3 vac for the last 5 months. Had one vac pop due to foam but that was my fault!
Been cc for 9 years and it's the best machine I'v had.
Very simple and easy to work on and as much power you could need for a portable.
The reliability is superb if you are carefull with water/foam going through the vacs due to the high air flow.
And it looks good :)
