Title: Advice please!
Post by: tolzy82 on January 20, 2010, 09:20:42 pm
Just been on the prochem carpet cleaning course and tried to take in as much as i could but as its a whole new world to me, there are a few things i want to touch up on before i clean some carpets.

Is it ok to use multi pro pre spray on wool carpets if i rinse with fibre and fabric rinse because this will neutralise the alkaline rather than use extraction pro as this will do the opposite?

thanks
Tom

On Wool I'd use "Pre Spray Gold" (PSG Ph8) and rinse with the FibFab as you suggest. You do right to be cautious, good luck with your new line in the carpet cleaning biz!

Don't worry too much mate! What I will say is that even though you may be well known in the windy section, carpet cleaners tend to be more helpful when they know when your're not in their area and a threat..... So a profile with your area/town on will not only help in you gaining more info, but someone "just" outside your area may take you on a few days experience.....
