Title: Transfer Pumps
Post by: Sapphire Window Cleaning on January 19, 2010, 10:31:57 pm
Can anyone tell me where I can get a decent mains powered submersible transfer pump with a transfer rate of around 120 litres per minute and has a pressure switch, along with that I am looking for about 30 metres of hose for it, I have to take the hose through the house, and I would like a shut off valve for the hose.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Matt, I'm selling a Transfer pump, it should be what you need :

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110481927296&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Accepts a lot of different hoses, and got (max) 216l p/m, brand new hasn't been used.

I don't believe that the do have pressure switches.  And at 30meters the ones that have a flow rate of 120 LPM won't really be man enough.  I got one from gardeners recently and that pumps 50meters at a very high flow rate, but it still takes about 10 mins to fill 650 even though it's rated at 280 LPM.  It can fill a backpack without the 50 meters of hose in about 4 seconds.
