Title: Before I change to WFP, should I.....?
Post by: Martin ccs on January 18, 2010, 06:29:09 pm
.... be doing any preparation work?  ???

I have started to ensure that the top of the frames are clean etc.

Should I stop using 'fairy'? - concerned about excess residue from soap.

etc etc

There will be soap in the rubbers and in the cracks in the frames anyway. Wouldn't have thought it would make much difference to stop now.

Well done for thinking ahead with the top frames though.
I just did it all on the first month or two wfp. Still came out alright.

Using a professional liquid helps loads. Squeegee off is great, when you change to wfp there is barely any soap left. Cleaning the top frames helps as well, but not 100% necessary really.

Yes stop using fairy, it's a nightmare for wfp, squeegee off is good. Wipe the tops of frames but not with fairy. The frames will be contaminated with fairy but every little helps.
