Title: wellies
Post by: JSMC on January 18, 2010, 05:28:24 pm
i am gonna get a pair of wellies and cut them down into a boot. i have ruined one pair of gortex berghaus boots, one pair of hi tec walking shoes and now i am wearing my timby boots and they look fecked also.

Wellies it seems are the best we can have. cheap and comf yand totally waterproof and smelly

I think the problem lies with the wearer not the boots  ;D

I have berghaus boots, and they always last me 18 months.

I would not wear wellies, they make my feet wet through with sweat and then start rotting the soles of my feet, riggers are just as bad, when i was farming it killed my feet,I wear timberland toe tectors at mo,(from my last job),they are pretty good

Ive ALWAYS found it hard to get some boots that will

A keep my feet dry and warm
B Last
until i found these

I bought these from sports direct for £30 just google SNOW BOOTS as theres loads of different brands of them

These are ace there like a hybrid wellie/walking boot
Thinsulate lining to boot as well

since owning these my feet dont hurt as much and they are always toasty warm
BEST I HAVE HAD
